IPL 2018: RCB makes Virat highest paid player, Dhoni return to CSK

MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma have been retained by Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians, respectively for Rs. 15 crores each but Kohli has still managed to stay ahead of his India ODI teammates.


Royal Challengers Bengaluru has retained skipper Virat Kohli which was an obvious choice and made him the highest paid player in the Indian Premier League as the franchise shelled out Rs 17 crore to the hold on the versatile batsman. Virat Kohli only player to be retained by a franchise for a higher amount than set by IPL (15 crores).

MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma have been retained by Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians, respectively for Rs. 15 crores each but Kohli has still managed to stay ahead of his India ODI teammates.
