IND VS NZ:100 for Virat Kohli in his 200th ODI, surpasses Ponting
India’s captain, fantastic Virat Kohli is now only the 14th Indian and the 72nd cricketer to play 200 One-day International matches.
Virat Kohli marked his 200th ODI appearance for the Men in Blue in style, smashing a masterful century. Kohli’s 31st century came at a time when India needed the most, the host was struggling after a poor start as both the openers lost their wicket cheaply while the middle order batsmen failed to make any significant impact. The innings is more than great skill, it is also a tribute to his endurance, it’s a century which he will remember with pride.

Earlier, Virat Kohli walked in to bat after the dismissal of Shikhar Dhawan in the fourth over and Wankhede, which has witnessed many memorable moments welcomed the skipper with rapturous applause.
