Man City attacker Gabriel Jesus hits out at Brazil dive claims

   
Manchester City attacker Gabriel Jesus is angry over claims he dived during their draw with Switzerland. Gabriel denied that he dived in an attempt to win Brazil a penalty in last night's World Cup draw with Switzerland. The referee ignored his second-half penalty appeal after the City striker went down in the box under a challenge by Manuel Akanji. “I protected, I turned, the ball was clean in front of the goal," Gabriel said. “There was no reason for me to play. I received the contact. If he interpreted that it wasn't a penalty, life is like that."

The second-half was more open as Adnan Januzaj curled the ball into the back of the in the 51st minute which evidently served as a wakeup call for England.
