Colombia coach Jose Pekerman says Barcelona defender Yerry Mina has his full trust. Colombia face Japan in Saransk on Tuesday for their World Cup opener. "We trust [Mina], he's confident, he's happy and he feels very good with the team," the coach told his pre-match press conference. "We also think that he's doing well and now that in the last few months in Barcelona he hasn't played much and that's not great, when he had to play they weren't many expectations. "Football is very fast, a very fast paced game, we have to decide very quickly what you're going to do. "I'm sure it was tough with him to cope with that situation, we have no doubts and we have no doubt about him being here."

The second-half was more open as Adnan Januzaj curled the ball into the back of the in the 51st minute which evidently served as a wakeup call for England.
