Spain ace Diego Costa: De Gea knows what he did

Atletico Madrid ace Diego Costa says there's been no finger pointing at David de Gea after Spain's 3-3 draw with Portugal. Costa was outstanding on the day, but Manchester United goalkeeper De Gea endured a poor game for the World Cup opener. "David knows we have confidence in him," said Costa. "Obviously when something like that happens, you get sad or angry, but people haven't become negative, we have embraced him. We didn't want to go into it too much, he knows what he did." On Julen Lopetegui's dismissal, he added: "It's something that won't happen again in the world of football, not just two days before [the game]. Some things have to be respected. This is a decision for people above us and that's that. In life, this can always happen."
