Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata is currently sidelined with a back problem and boss Antonio Conte admitted earlier this week that he did not know when he would return. But a video posted by his wife on Instagram told a different story.

In the video posted by Alice Campello, Morata can be seen dancing with his wife, even lifting her, who is pregnant with their first child, before they embrace.  But it is unclear when it was filmed with some suggesting that it’s an old video but it has not gone down well among Chelsea fans.

One supporter commented: 'He's supposed to have a bad back!!!!'

Another wrote: 'He should play instead of dancing.'

Chelsea — who host West Brom on Monday night — have struggled in Morata's absence, losing three of their last five games since he was involved.

Prior to his latest spell on the sidelines, the 25-year-old had netted 10 goals in 20 Premier League appearances.
