Football season is once again upon us, Arsenal and Leicester City will officially kick start the 2017/18 Premier League season at the Emirates Stadium on Friday, yup Friday, feels weird but on the bright side, it’s finally back, meaning for there something to look up every weekend. Arsenal’s record signing Lacazette had an impressive pre-season and looked sharp during the Community Shield where he showed glimpses of justifying the £46.5 million price tag. It will be interesting to see if he can score in his Premier League debut and set the tone for the season.

 

Leicester have been quite busy in the transfer window, signing five new players out which highly rated youngster Kelechi Iheancho and Spanish hard man Vicente Iborra has significantly improved the squad and might cause the Gunners some serious problem.

Following that, six games will take place on Saturday, August 12, with Liverpool kicking off proceedings early away to Watford.

Later on Saturday, Premier League newbie, Brighton will endure a baptism as they play they're first ever Premier League match against Manchester City.

There are two games on Sunday, Newcastle will make their return to the top flight by hosting Tottenham, while Manchester United take on West Ham at Old Trafford.
