Inked: Walcott get Om Namah Shivaya tattoo, spells it incorrectly
The tattoo was perfectly placed along his spine which made it look very intriguing and many fans congratulated the Arsenal man on his new tattoo. However, there was a slight problem in the tattoo Theo flaunted, the spelling was messed up. The mantra read as 'Om Namah Shavaya' instead of ' Om Namah Shivaya'.
Arsenal forward Theo Walcott is a stylish man with a great taste for fashion, loves tattoo and recently got himself a new one. The 28-year-old shared his new body art with the world via Instagram, which read Om Namah Shivaya, popular and most well-known mantras of Hinduism. The mantra is recited to revere Lord Shiva, one of the gods of Hindu religion.

Once the mistake was noticed by those in the know-how of the error lashed out at the Englishman and made sure that Walcott noticed the mistake. Many pointed out the grammatical errors, while some broke down the mantra for the Arsenal star.

Well, Theo is not the only one to make such grammatical mistake, back in 2000 David Beckham pledged his devotion to his Victoria with a tattoo of her name on his left forearm and like Walcott, Beckham opted for Devanagari or the Hindu script.
It was a wonderful gesture by a loving husband but similarly, it didn’t go as planned as the tattoo eventually ended up spelling 'Vihctoria'
