8 domestic players are attending the conditioning camp. The build-up to the 2019 edition of the Indian Premier League has already started. While the tournament still over a month away, the teams have started off with their preparations. Among the lot, the Royal Challengers Bangalore seem to have hit the straps right and early leading into the season. Reportedly, the domestic players of the team have started to attend the conditioning camp in Bengaluru. As per the recent reports in Times of India, the Royal Challengers Bangalore have made it a mandate for their domestic players on the roster this season, to undergo the yo-yo test to prove their fitness. The yo-yo test is not a new term for the followers of the game. The high intensity cardio test is quite challenging, and over the last few years, several sides including the international setups have adopted this test as a base for their team selection. Many a times, even reputed big names have missed out on being a part of the cricketing action owing to the fact that they have failed to clear these tests. Team RCB look quite determined to use this to hone the fitness levels of their side and win their maiden trophy this year under Virat Kohli. Domestic players attend the conditioning camp Commenting specifically on the conditioning camp of the Royal Challengers Bangalore, the domestic players kicked off their preparations in the 5-day camp. The camp is being closely monitored by the watchful eyes of the head coach Gary Kirsten and former India pacer Ashish Nehra. As many as 8 domestic names were spotted at the camp. This included young 16-year old Prayas Ray Burman, who shot to fame during this domestic season for his exploits in the Bengal team. Also, Milind Kumar, the leading run-scorer of Ranji Trophy this year, was seen at the camp. Shivam Dube, the Mumbai all-rounder who had attracted heavy bidding during the auctions this year was also seen sweating it out. The other notable mentions include Uttar Pradesh domestic side skipper Akshdeep Nath, Delhi's Kulwant Khejroliya and Himmat Singh. Washington Sundar, who had once infamously struggled with the same yo-yo test, is also attending the camp. Local lad and youngster Devdutt Padikkal was another one seen at the camp.
