Warner wasn't picked in the Australia squad for UAE tour. It is just a matter of a few days before the ban on Australian cricketer David Warner will be uplifted. The left-hander hasn't been in great touch over the last year. He participated in a few T20 leagues around the world including the CPL and the BBL but wasn't able to create an impact. Moreover, he injured his elbow during the BPL 2019. Hence, he had to go under the knife and was ruled out of the action for about four weeks. There were questions raised over his IPL 2019 participation. However, the 32-year-old proved his fitness by playing a professional game in the NSW Premier Cricket tournament. Furthermore, he struck a brilliant and aggressive century in the match proving the fact that he is in a great frame of mind. Warner's efforts go in vain In the 15th round of the NSW Premier Cricket, Penrith played hosts to the Randwick-Petersham. The home team won the toss and elected to bat first in the match. R Hackney and C Weir played terrific innings to help the side post a huge total on the board. While the former scored 127 runs off 144 balls, his partner piled up 89 off 72 deliveries. B Williams was unbeaten on 52 off 37 balls as Penrith put on a massive total of 313 runs on the board for the loss of 5 wickets. David Warner was the lone-warrior for his team in the chase. The former Australian vice-captain scored 110 off 77 balls and looked extremely good. He smashed four boundaries and seven sixes in the course of his innings. His opening partner S Eaton scored 39 runs while Jason Sangha mustered 33. However, the middle-order gave up completely even though they had the run rate on their side. When the score was 219/8 after 29 overs, the captains decided to end the match. David Warner's IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad was thrilled with this knock. They shared their happiness on Instagram and seem to be excited to have him back in the Orange Army.
