
PKL 2017: Haryana snap Gujarat’s unbeaten run, Bengal stunning comeback win against Pirates
The night was all about comeback wins in the Pro Kabaddi League, Bengal Warriors came back from the dead and scripted a thrilling 41-38 win against two-time champions Patna Pirates to go top of Zone B at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
In an another thrilling encounter in the Pro Kabaddi League, Haryana Steelers snapped leaders Gujarat Fortunegiants seven match winning streak with a dominating 42-36 win at the Netaji Indoor Stadium on Saturday.
Gujarat eyeing their first won over Haryana in three outing, Fortuegiant’s started the match with great conviction, leading the game by seven points through half time but lost all the momentum in the crucial moment of the match.
Haryana fought back and the architect for the win was Prasanth Kumar Rai with his superb 14 raid points and two tackle points as he along with Singh combined well in the closing minutes to script a brilliant turnaround win.
The loss had little impact on Gujarat’s standing as they still lead the Zone A with 42 points from 11 matches, only losing twice but both the losses have come against nemeses Haryana.
