It turned out ot be a Super Sunday at the Babu Banarasi Das Indoor Stadium in Lucknow as Kabaddi fans got to see two very exciting matches. The first match was much closer than second as Jaipur Pink Panthers defeated home team UP Yoddha 24-22. It was the first time that Jaipur Pink Panthers and UP Yoddha faced off in Pro Kabaddi as Patil and Rawal were the star performers for Panthers with 5 points each. UP Yoddha will have some thinking to do now as this is the 3rd successive loss for them at their home turf. One could make out from Jasvir and Abhishek Bachchan’s celebration that how much did this win mean to them.

In another match, Puneri Paltan defeated Patna Pirates 47-42 as Sandeep Narwal’s all round performance helped them register their 4th win in 5 games. Patna’s Pradeep Narwal tried his level best to bring his team back in the game as he ended up scoring 19 points in the match. This is also Pirates first victory over Paltan in the history of Pro Kabaddi League. As per Patna Pirates coach Ram Meher Singh, it was their defence which let the game slip from their hands despite Pradeep’s heroics.
