On Thursday, UP Yoddha registered a win against Telugu Titans 25-23 to end their home leg in Lucknow. Quite surprisingly, this is only win for UP Yoddha at home in Pro Kabaddi League season 5. UP Yoddha have been playing lots of close matches of late but have been on the losing side and finally the home crowd found something to cheer. Although they have had a disappointing home leg, but this win still keeps them at the top of Zone B with 30 points from 11 matches.

Nitin Tomar was the star performer for Yoddha, scoring 6 points. Although Rishank Devadiga was not at his best, Nitin Tomar and Mahesh Goud compensated for Rishank’s poor show.Tomar once again led from the front and finally helped his side clinch a victory after four successive losses.

On the other hand, Titans continue at the 5th position in Zone B with 18 points from 11 games. Although, it was a night to remember for Telugu captain Rahul Chaudhari as he became the first player to score 600 points in the history of Pro Kabaddi League.
