PKL 2017: Paltan outclass Titans, Delhi and Bengal play out a thrilling tie
Puneri Paltan climbed to the fourth spot in Zone A as they outplayed Telugu Titans on Thursday. In another match, Bengal Warriors settled for a tie (31-31) in their last home leg match against Dabang Delhi.
Puneri Paltan defeated Telugu Titans (42-37) on Thursday as they climbed to fourth spot in Zone A as Sandeep Narwal and Deepak Hooda turned out to be the star performers . At one stage, Paltan led 19-0 having inflicted two all outs on the Telugu Titans. But Titans captain Rahul Chaudhari led the comeback as he scored nine points from 19 raids but it was not enough in the end as the poor start ultimately cost them the match.

On the other hand, Bengal Warriors settled for a tie (31-31) in their last home leg match of Pro Kabaddi League 2017 against Dabang Delhi. The match went down to the wire as the Bengal crowd enjoyed the thrilling contest with Maninder Singh starring for the home side with 13 raid points from 26 attempts.

While Warriors stay at the top in Zone B, Dabang Delhi are now stuck at the bottom position in Zone A as Paltan moved up the table. Both the matches had been played at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indoor Stadium in Kolkata.
