PKL 2017: Sonepat leg begins with two consecutive draws
On Friday, Pro Kabaddi league 2017 saw two exciting contests. While Patna Pirates made a strong comeback against home side Haryana Steelers with the match ending on 41-41, Gujarat Fortunegiants and UP Yoddha played out another thrilling tie (30-30) as Yoddha skipper Nitin Tomar missed a point in the final raid.
Friday turned out to be an entertaining day for Kabaddi fans as both the matches ended in a tie . In the first match Patna Pirates made a strong comeback against home side Haryana Steelers with the match ending on 41-41 as Pardeep Narwal led the Pirates fight back, scoring 13 points.

In the second match, Gujarat Fortunegiants and UP Yoddha played out another thrilling tie (30-30) . Yoddha skipper Nitin Tomar had the opportunity to clinch the victory for his team in the end but he did not go for a point in the final raid.

While Gujarat Fortunegiants stay at top in Zone A, Haryana Steelers are now next to Fortunegiants on 2nd spot
