In another match, Haryana Steelers got their first win of the season by defeating Gujarat Fortunegiants 32-20. This was a much need victory for Haryana as they have been quite unlucky so far even after playing so well. They had earlier played the most thrilling match of the season against Gujarat Fortunegiants which ended in a tie. Mohit Chillar and Surendra Nada had been the star performers for Steelers. “We needed this win,” said coach Rambir Khokhar in an interaction with the media after the match, “We wanted to win the first two matches and came very close. But today the boys have shown what we can do.”
