
PKL 2017: Two thrilling matches keep fans on the edge of their seats
In the first match, Dabang Delhi fought back to beat Tamil Thalaivas 30-29 in the end as Meraj Sheykh and Abolfazl were the star performers for Delhi side. In another match, Gujarat Fortunegiants and Bengal Warriors played out a thrilling tie (26-26).
On the last day of the Ahmedabad leg of the Pro Kabaddi league 2017, the fans got to witness two of the most exciting contests of the season so far. In the first match, Dabang Delhi fought back to beat Tamil Thalaivas 30-29 in the end as Meraj Sheykh and Abolfazl were the star performers for Delhi side. Thalaivas inflicted an all out in the 34th minute to lead 25-22. But it was Meraj Sheykh who came up with a brilliant super raid with less than 40 seconds left to give Dabang Delhi 30-28 lead. With this win, Delhi have 13 points from 6 matches, moving up to 3rd place in Zone A.

In another match, Gujarat Fortunegiants and Bengal Warriors played out a thrilling tie (26-26) as Deepak and Sachin were the top scorers for Bengal and Gujarat respectively. Gujarat had won all their five previous matches at their home venue this season, but the tired hosts could not repeat the same in the last match in front of home crowd.
