India and Pakistan are ready to face each other in their first world cup meeting of 2019 World Cup at Old Trafford Cricket Ground on Sunday. India that began its tournament campaign against South Africa is coming into this match after two victories and a washout against New Zealand, while Pakistan that began its 2019 world cup journey with the loss against West Indies is entering in the match after their recent defeat against Australia.

World Cup 2003: India won by 6 wickets

Misbah-ul-Haq's 76 was the only other score of importance as Pakistan was got all out at just 224, courtesy of Mohammad Shami's incisive four-wicket haul.

Australia tops on the points table with 12 points while New Zealand is spotted on third with 11 points.
Pakistan is placed at the 6th position on the points table with 7 points while Afghanistan is at the rock bottom and yet to open its account.
