AJ Style to defend title in a handicap match against Owens & Zayn
AJ Styles once again battled it out with Sami Zayn in the main event of 2018 edition of SmackDown but this time Daniel Bryan, Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens were all present at the ringside.

As expected, chaos dominated the contest and the ringside individuals affected the outcome of the match. The distraction outside the ring allowed Zayn to deliver the Helluva Kick for the upset victory.

After the match, frustrated Styles demanded a handicap match against Zayn and Owens, which Bryan did but the general manager put the WWE title up for grabs at Royal Rumble.
