WWE Summerslam: Lesnar wins, Jinder Mahal also retains his Title
The 30th annual WWE SummerSlam turned out to be a spectacle as it kept audience glued to their television sets. But nothing can surpass the fatal 4 way match which turned out to be one of the most physical matches in recent history.
The 30th annual WWE Summerslam turned out to be a spectacle as it kept audience glued to their television sets. But nothing can surpass the fatal 4 way match which turned out to be one of the most physical matches in recent history. In the Main event, Brock Lesnar won the fatal 4 way match also featuring Roman Reigns,Braun Strowman and Samoa Joe. Lesnar received horrific beatdown especially from Braun Strowman and had to be carried away on a stretcher during the match. But somehow, Lesnar came back and pinned Roman reigns after an F5 in the end to the Universal Title.. With the win, Brock Lesnar also saved his WWE career after Paul Heyman had said that client would quit the WWE if he loses at Summerslam.

In another championship match, Indian origin Jinder Mahal defended the WWE Title for the 3rd time by defeating Shinsuke Nakamura after some help from the Singh brothers. During the match, Nakamura looked impressive and tried his high flying tricks but in the end, Mahal got his finishing move ‘The Khallas’ after distraction from Singh brothers. With this win, Mahal has extended his Title reign to 91 days. Heading into Summerslam, Japanese wrestler Shinsuke Nakamura had been favoured to get victory over Mahal but surprising many, Mahal got the win at the event.

Overall, five championships had changed hands while three had been successfully defended during the event.
