Tea and coffee might just be an ideal first choice but the inclusion of some unique drinks with great health benefits never hurt anyone.

If your cabinet is full of spices and tasteful tea, it will take only minutes to prepare some of the most extravagant herbal drinks to beat away the harsh winter problems. These beverages are a great choice during throat infections, cold and cough and other symptoms.
Take a break from regular Tea and Coffee that has an extensive amount of caffeine that might not be ideal during the diseases. They will also help in losing unnecessary fat and maintain weight.

1. Tulsi Kadha/ Drink
In a pot, pour some water, put all the above-mentioned ingredients and boil it for a few minutes until the colour changes. Strain the mixture and enjoy the goodness of spices.
2. Ginger Water
Boil water and ginger to infuse the ginger flavour. Strain the infused water and some honey and squeeze in some lemon on it.
This fresh hot drink takes only minutes to make and is super comforting!
Tip: Add in some hot ghee to add an edge to the drink
Boil in water with green tea, a pinch of saffron and all the other ingredients. Pour the filtered mixture and add honey, This Kashmiri household delight makes anyone feel at home and warms you up from the inside.
4. Lemongrass and Mint
Pour water into a pan, add all the ingredients and boil the mixture to infuse all the flavours. Ideally, mint is consumed during summers but the addition of black pepper and star anise can do wonders during winters.
5. Tumeric Milk
Add a teaspoon of ghee in a pan, put in some Haldi and cook it for a minute. Add milk; sugar or honey as your preference. One of the most famous drinks in almost all parts of the country, the turmeric milk is packed with health benefits and is great to boost immunity!
