Harbhajan questions on Dhoni’s selection, says I am not enjoying privilege

Expressing his disappointment over non-selection in Team India for Champions Trophy 2017, Senior off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has said that he is not given the kind of privilege that Mahendra Singh Dhoni gets.

The controversial remarks from the bowler came just ahead of Champions Trophy which again triggered a row over selection of former skipper Dhoni.

During an interview to a news channel Harbhajan’s anguish burst out as he was not selected in England touring side.

Underlining his pain he said, "We too have played for 19 years and won and lost India. I have won two World Cups too. So this privilege is for some players, and for some it is not and I`m one of those for whom this privilege is not there. I don`t matches know why that is the case.”

Recently, the BCCI Chairman of Selectors MSK Prasad had countered the question on Dhoni’s selection with saying that Mahi brought much more to the table than just his batting.

Referring to Dhoni’s work behind the wicket and his vast experience as skipper, Prasad had sidelined the question over MSD’s batting form.
Notably, Harbhajan was dropped from playing XI of Mumbai Indians in IPL10 final.

Harbhajan faced in and out from the Indian Team since Ravichandran Ashwin has provided an alternate option for the spin attack.
