Borussia Dortmund’s French starlet Ousmane Dembele brought transfer an end to protracted talks by agreeing to a five-year deal with Barcelona for a fee of €105 million ($125 million) plus add-ons.

Barca revealed that his deal will contain a release clause of 400m euros.Dembele has not featured for Dortmund since the German Super Cup on 5 August. The German side rejected a bid from Barca for the forward earlier in August, with the player then suspended for missing training.

The 20-year-old France international moved to Dortmund last season for just €15 million from Rennes, during his time with the German side Dembele scored 10 goals provided 21 assists as they finished third in the Bundesliga and won the German Cup, they also reached the Champions League quarter-finals.
Dembele is being regarded as one of the top prospects in world football, many of his team mates and former coaches consider the youngster has the potential to be a Ballon d’Or winner.
