FIFA U-17 World Cup: FIFA LOC Director Javier Ceppi involved in altercation with organizers
Guwahati is set to host a significant amount of matches, the city is known for loving football has been allotted 5 matches along with a round of 16 times, a quarter-final and a semi-final.
The FIFA U-17 World Cup is less than 40 days and controversies continue to creep up, this time FIFA LOC Director Javier Ceppi lost his cool and can be seen blasting the secretary of the organization Ankur Dutta.
According to various reports, Javier overhead the officials talking to media outlet regarding World Cup being shifted to outside Guwahati and asked the people not to buy tickets as the tournament was going to be shifted in the last minute.

Ceppi had already raised issues regarding slow sales of tickets in the city and this made him even more furious. During the verbal battle, Dutta said 'to hell with the World Cup' which didn't go down well with Ceppi.

No action has been taken over the altercation, however, the video though will be seen as a major embarrassment for the Assam Football Association as Dutta holds the position of a secretary.
