One win, one loss - a pattern followed by Kolkata Knight Riders right from week 1 to week 5 in this VIVO IPL 2018. Moving into week 6, Dinesh Karthik and his Knights couldnâ??t afford to keep the same momentum. One loss from the remaining two matches would have put KKR in a spot of danger for an early exit.

The team showed a much different performance against KXIP in Indore and as we moved to week 6 of the IPL, DK and Co. continued their form with wins over Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad to finish third in the points table.

Here are some major highlights from week 6 of VIVO IPL 2018:

KO from Kuldeep YadavChinaman, Kuldeep Yadav wasnâ??t having a great run with the ball. He was taken apart by Ishan Kishan a few nights ago at Eden Gardens. He went for a little too much (1/29 in 2 overs) against KXIP in Indore. But our Knight didnâ??t give up on his wicket-taking abilities and responded well against Rajasthan Royals with his match winning spell of 4/20 after they were off to a flying start.

DK-The PerfectionistItâ??s not over till DK says itâ??s over. And mind our words he does mean every single word of it. He has been a class above when it comes to chasing. And he once again proved the same with yet another two unbeaten knocks (41* off 31 balls against RR and 26* off 22 balls against SRH).

Prasidh Krishna - Find of the seasonThe medium fast bowler from Karnataka wasnâ??t known to any franchise during auctions. At the start of the IPL he wasnâ??t even in the Knightsâ?? squad. Later brought in as a replacement to Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Prasidh found himself in the playing XI and cashed in on the opportunity. He has been the pick of our bowlers in our last two wins (2/35 vs RR, 4/30 vs SRH).

Ch-risponsible LynningsLynnsanity! Lynnstorm! Lynn this! Lynn that! We have heard so many of those cool-sounding names for our opener. But when you can win matches playing a second fiddle, why risk your wicket! Chris Lynn once again anchored his innings (55 off 43 balls) and made a challenging total of 173 runs against SRH look like a cakewalk, as we went on to win the match by 5 wickets.

As SRK said - Sunil being Sunil21 off just 7 balls (two 4s and two 6s); 29 off just 10 balls (four 4s and two 6s) - these are some astonishing figures. God sake! In two innings he only took 2 singles and rest were scored via boundaries. With the bowl he doesnâ??t like to give away too many and assured he stands with the same reputation (1/29 vs RR and 1/23 vs SRH). No doubt he leads the MVP player of the season.
