Adam Zampa gets one-match suspension, fine for ``Audible Obscenity``

Australia and Melbourne Stars spinner Adam Zampa has been suspended for one Big Bash League (BBL) match after he pleaded guilty for an `audible obscenity` during his team`s match against the Sydney Thunder on Tuesday. Zampa accepted a Level 1 offense under the Cricket Australia (CA) Code of Conduct and accepted a penalty of one suspension point and a 2500 dollars fine. This was his second offense this season. "Melbourne Stars player Adam Zampa has been suspended for one KFC Big Bash League match after accepting a charge for an audible obscenity during his side`s match against the Sydney Thunder on December 29," CA said in an official statement. Melbourne Stars have been without key men including Zampa, Marcus Stoinis, Nic Maddinson, and Nathan Coulter-Nile at various stages for recent games while Pakistan pacer Dilbar Hussain hurt his hamstring after a promising start to BBL|10. Zampa will now miss Melbourne Stars` next BBL match against Hobart Hurricanes on Saturday. In their last outing, Stars suffered a massive 75-run defeat at the expense of the Sydney Thunders.
