Tokyo 2020: With eyes on medal, Archer Deepika Kumari storms into round of 16 by defeating Bhutan's Bhu Karma
World No.1 recurve archer India's Deepika Kumari won her round of 32 match by defeating Bhutan's Karma 6-0 in straight sets. Deepika won the first set 26-23, second set 26-23 and third set 27-24.
World No.1 recurve archer India's Deepika Kumari won her round of 32 match by defeating Bhutan's Karma 6-0 in straight sets. Deepika won the first set 26-23, second set 26-23 and third set 27-24.
After two sets, Deepika was 4-0 ahead of Bhutan's Karma. In the third set, India's Deepika continued her brilliant game and won the set with a score of 27-24. With winning the third set, Deepika managed to win the match 6-0 and has reached the next round. Deepika has now made it to the Round of 16. India is expecting a medal from Deepika Kumari. Rio Olympian Karma is ranked 193 in the world rankings.
