WWE RAW coming to India, two live events in December

The last time WWE headed to India was in January 2016 when it hosted live across Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. Apparently, the event garnered a good amount of revenue, a result of which it's planned on returning just two years later.


Big news for all the wrestling fans in India, WWE is heading to New Delhi for two RAW-branded events later this year. The event is scheduled to be held on December 7th and 8th at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium. The shows are part of the company’s overseas tour, they will hold a show in Abu Dhabi on December 6th.

The WWE is trying to capture the huge Indian market, there are now shows which are dubbed in Hindi, while Smackdown has India-origin champion in Jinder Mahal. There are huge fan-following in the country and Vince McMahon, the chairman of the Board, sees a huge potential market in the country.
