Nakamura and Kevins Owens faced-off for the spot, the duo exchanged some exciting moves but when Sami Zayn turned up to help Owens, it looked like it was over for Nakamura, however, there was another twist as Orton emerged from the crowd and suplexed Zayn on the table.

Nakamura took advantage of the opening and came up with a Kinshasa to end the match and earn his spot in the Team SmackDown at Survivor Series. Earlier, Shane McMahon announced himself as the caption of Team SmackDown.
