Nakamura, Orton to take on Zyan and Owens at Clash of Champions
Zyan outside the ring tried to run away but was stuck in between Orton and Shane McMahon, who stepped out to announce Zyan and Owens would face Orton and a partner of his choosing at the Clash of Champions, and also booked a Zyan vs Orton match where Owens would be handcuffed to the ring rope in the main event of the evening.
The latest episode of the Smackdown was all about tweaking, bolstering and tinkering the Clash of Champions lineup.
The show kicked off with Owens claiming he was a victim of a conspiracy perpetrated by the McMahons which ended with him getting RKO by the Viper.

The main event of the night kicked off with the duo begging to cancel the match but their plan failed. Owens watched the match from ringside, handcuffed to the bottom rope while Orton emerged victorious. However, it didn’t end there as after the bell the duo attacked Orton but Nakamura arrived and cleared the scoundrels from the ring.
Orton and Nakamura took down the team of Owens and Zayn with a Kinshasha free kick and an RKO. Backstage, McMahon told Bryan that Nakamura will team up with Orton at Clash of Champions, and McMahon himself will be the special guest referee in the match. He added that if Owens and Zayn failed to win, they would be fired from WWE!
