Ind vs Aus: Warner and Finch put Australia in command
After David Warner and Aaron Finch’s fine knocks, Australia’s run rate suddenly dipped and none of the other batsman could hang around for long, which meant that Australia fell way short of score of 350 which looked the minimum total at one stage.
Australia finished on a huge score of 334 in the 4th ODI played at the M. Chinaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Although, at one stage it looked as if the Kangaroos might set an impossible target for India to chase. David Warner once again showed his class and became the first Australian player to score a century in his hundredth ODI game. He created this new record in style, smashing Kedar Jadhav for a boundary. He was eventually dismissed for 124 by Jadhav in the 35th over, caught at long on by Axar Patel.
Umesh Yadav turned out to be the stand out bowler for Team India as he picked up 4 crucial wickets. Quite interestingly, this is also the 100th One Day international match for Umesh Yadav and like David Warner, he also did not disappoint his fans.
