Ind vs Aus T20I: India look to bounce back in series decider
India will hope that the batting failure was a one-off incident and their batsmen will come out all guns blazing in the decisive tie.
In the second T20I the Men in Blue were hammered by the visitors, losing the match by eight wickets, something the current Indian side haven’t experienced in recent past, but the boys will be looking to put up a better show when they take on Australia in their third and final match of the T20I series at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
The star performer of the second T20I was left-arm speedster Behrendorff who wiped India’s top four, pinning the host in an awkward position and from then onwards India was rattled, they started losing wickets in quick succession, and failed to put up a defendable score.
India will hope that the batting failure was a one-off incident and their batsmen will come out all guns blazing in the decisive tie.
While for the visitors, it’s a great opportunity to redeem themselves after the horror show in ODI series and also to take a trophy back home but for that to happen Australia’s middle order has to turn-up, who have failed to click as a unit so far.
An Australia win would cause the two teams to swap places on the table. An India win would keep them in fifth place, but move them within a point of England in fourth, while causing Australia to slip below South Africa, to seventh.
