IPL 2021: RR vs KKR preview, find out match prediction, predicted XI and head-to-head stats

Two-time IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will face Rajasthan Royals (RR), captained by young Sanju Samson in the 18th match of IPL 2021 today at 7:30 pm in Mumbai's iconic Wankhede Stadium.

The road to IPL 2021 playoffs is getting tougher with every game for Rajasthan Royals. RR is at the bottom eight spot in the table with just one win in a total of four matches. After the injury of Joffra Archer and Ben Stokes, now England all-rounder Liam Livingstone has pulled out of the tournament. Liam Livingstone flew back to England due to the fatigue caused by the bio bubble over the past year. The Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals suffered a 10-wicket defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore in their last match despite a strong score of 177 runs. In such a situation, the team's strength seems to have taken a hit.

KKR sit at the seventh place by winning only one of their four previous matches; however, Kolkata Knight Riders gave a tough fight against Chennai Super Kings in their last match. Andre Russell played an explosive knock of 54 runs in 22 balls in that match, while Sunil Narine also returned to the team. They've arrived here after suffering three consecutive defeats and in such a situation, RR has an upper hand. KKR, captained by Eoin Morgan, could make some changes to get back to winning ways.

Both the teams had to face defeat in their last match and in this match, they would like to return to the winning path.
