Sri Lanka has announced its team for the ODI and T20 series against India. all the young players have been given a place in the 24-member squad. The captaincy of this team has been handed over to all-rounder Dasun Shanaka after former Sri Lankan team captain and senior batsman Kusal Perera has been ruled out of the entire series due to injury today.

Only a few days are left for the limited-overs series between India and Sri Lanka and Kusal's injury will be a major setback for the Lankans.
