Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the former captain of Team India, is in discussion for the last two days. And, the reason for his constant discussion is related to his Twitter account. Twitter had temporarily removed that blue tick from Dhoni's account, which confirms the scale of his authenticity. But after a few hours, the blue tick came back on Dhoni's Twitter account again.

Dhoni is not an active user of social media and rarely posts anything despite having millions of followers on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. According to the new policy of Twitter, the account which they do not see active for several months, their blue tick is removed. Same happened with Dhoni's account.

Meanwhile, users have expressed their displeasure on social media. Dhoni's fans have slammed the Twitter authorities for taking such a drastic step against the two-time World Cup winning captain.

The former India captain has 8.2 million followers on Twitter, more than 26 million on Facebook and 34.5 million on Instagram. But unlike his former Indian colleagues and Chennai Super Kings teammates, Dhoni rarely posts anything on social media. This is the reason why his blue tick was removed from Twitter. Dhoni comes only after months on all social media platforms.
