Here are some interesting facts about him:
Popularly known as ‘The Wall’ or ‘Mr. Dependable’ but the ace cricketer also goes by the nickname ‘Jammy’ as his father used to work at the Kissan factory, hence earning him the name.
Dravid is the only Indian batsman to score centuries in four consecutive Test match innings.
Despite giving India many wins, Dravid first love was not cricket. He used to play hockey before taking up cricket
He also became the only non-Australian cricketer to give the Bradman Oration in 2012.
Rahul Dravid is also the only cricketer to have scored a century in each test playing nation. He achieved this stunning feat with a century against Bangladesh at Chittagong in 2004.
