India crushed Pakistan in the U-19 World Cup semi-final clash to book their place in the finals of the global tournament. The young guns registered a convincing win over arch-nemeses Pakistan by mind-boggling 203 runs.
Shubman Gill, who has been in terrific form smashed a masterful unbeaten 102 knock, helping Indian post a competitive total of 272/9. But the whole batting unit made a valuable contribution to achieving the total.
In response, Pakistan failed to put up a fight as pacer Porel ran through their top order. He ended with figures of 4/17 eventually ending Pakistan’s innings for just 69 runs.
With this win, India will be making their sixth appearance in the U-19 WC final and will face three-time champion Australia.
