End of an Era: Nehra Ji gets perfect farewell at his home ground
As Nehra finished his last game, former team-mates and fans took to social media and hailed the experienced bowler with special messages.
The veteran pacer Ashish Nehra played his last match for India and could not have asked for a better send-off as Men in Blue thrashed the Kiwis by 53 runs in the first T20I at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi.
The stadium where it all began was filled with fans to witness the local hero play his last match for the country. Placards of different shapes and sizes were seen on the ground with emotional messages for the ever-smiling cricketer.

The players also did their part and after completing one of lap of honour, Nehra’s Delhi mates, Kohli and Dhawan, lifted him to celebrate a 19-year career.
