David Warner was excluded from the playing XI (SRH) of Sunrisers Hyderabad in their match against Rajasthan. Although the fans are expressing displeasure on this decision of the Hyderabad franchise management on social media, but Warner, on the other hand, did one thing during the match which is being praised. In fact, Hyderabad's performance in this season has not been good, due to which David Warner was removed from the captaincy position and Kane Williamson was made the captain.
In the first 6 matches in the new season of IPL, the Hyderabad team won in just 1. After losing 5 matches, the team management decided to give this responsibility to Kane Williamson in place of captain David Warner. However, the fate of the team which came out to play with the new captain did not change and they also lost in the seventh match. In this match, Mohammad Nabi was given a place in the playing eleven in place of Warner and Warner was dropped from the team.

David Warner's brother Steve Warner vented his anger in an Instagram post
“A bloke that has carried this team for years, your openers aren’t the issue. How about getting a decent middle-order that scores some runs,” Steve captioned his Instagram post which showed David Warner’s performance with the bat in IPL.
PTI quoted sources as saying that Tom Moody (Director of cricket) and David Warner did not get along at all, and the inclusion of Virat Singh against Delhi Capitals in place of Manish Pandey further widened the differences. Warner also said that the decision to remove Pandey was tough, after the defeat.
The source said, ' The team management did not like his statement. Anyway, Warner and Moody are not unanimous about the selection of the playing XI'. Sunrisers lost in the Super Over in this match against Delhi Capitals. Another decision of Warner was questioned in this match. Warner did not give a chance to explosive batsman Johnny Bairstow in the super over. Williamson and Warner featured in the Super Over from Sunrisers.
