Virat Kohli has not been able to lead Team India to a single ICC tournament trophy. Kohli has also been able to win the IPL trophy even once in his eight IPL seasons as captain.
Virat Kohli had a chance to win the ICC trophy for the first time after taking over the captaincy from Mahendra Singh Dhoni in all three formats but he failed again.
Virat's team reached the final of the ICC World Test Championship but had to face defeat from New Zealand. New Zealand defeated Team India by eight wickets to win the WTC final title in this rain-ravaged title match.
Virat Kohli has not been able to lead Team India to a single ICC tournament trophy.
India was defeated by Pakistan in the final of the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy after Virat Kohli became the captain; then New Zealand crushed Indian dreams in the semi-finals of the 2019 World Cup, now Team Virat has missed out on winning the title in the 2021 ICC World Test Championship as well.
Apart from this, Kohli has also been able to win the IPL trophy even once in his eight IPL seasons as captain.

Team India is facing a lot of trolling on social media after the defeat, mostly captain Kohli. Some fans are remembering their World Cup-winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the only captain in the world who has won all three ICC trophies under his captaincy.
Some users even demanded the removal of Kohli from the captaincy.
