Seven members of the England team, including three cricketers, have tested positive for Covid-19. The three ODIs between England and Pakistan will begin on July 8. The England and Wales Cricket Board has confirmed the players of the English team to be Corona positive.

Seven players of the England cricket team have been infected with Coronavirus at a time when only a couple of days are left for the start of the ODI series against Pakistan.

The England team announced a new team on Tuesday. The command of this team will be in the hands of Ben Stokes, who is making a return in this series.

The ECB issued a statement saying, 'In a PCR test conducted on Monday in Bristol, the ECB confirms that seven members of the England men's ODI team - including three players and four management members - tested positive for Covid-19.'

People coming in contact with the infected will have to self-isolate themselves from 4 July under the UK government's COVID protocol. The rest of the team members are also believed to have come in contact and they will also keep themselves in isolation.

The Pakistan team will play a series of three ODIs and three T20 International matches against the hosts England.
