'I've had the good fortune to not only represent India, but also to lead the Indian Cricket Team to the best of my ability. I'd want to thank everyone who has helped me along the way as Captain of the Indian Cricket Team', Kohli made the announcement in a statement.
'I couldn't have done it without them – the guys, the support staff, the selection committee, my coaches, and every Indian who wished us luck', Kohli added.
