Four Indian sportspersons in Forbes India 30 under 30 list

Forbes released its annual 30 under 30 lists which is based on three broad criteria: The extent of the impact of their achievements, ability to disrupt the status quo and scalability of the business or line of work and; their potential to stay a long-term player.
These four Indian athletes made it on this year’s list:
Jasprit Bumrah
The fast bowler who made his international debut in January 2016 had a spectacular performance in 2017. Bumrah picked up 39 wickets in 23 ODIs last year and was also named in the ICC’S Team of The Year ODI.
Harmanpreet Kaur
The all-rounder Harmanpreet Kaur is one of the best players in the Indian women’s cricket team over the last few years. Kaur’s knock of 171 in the World Cup semifinal last year against Australia evoking the memories of Kapil Dev’s historic 175 not out against Zimbabwe during the 1983 World Cup.
Heena Sidhu
Heena had the successful year of 2017, clinching the gold media in 10-meter air pistol at the Commonwealth Shooting Championships in Brisbane and representing India in the 14th position in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Savita Punia
India Hockey team goalkeeper Savita Punia proved herself to be an important part of the victorious India team which won the Asia Cup in Japan last year. Her save against Japan helped India to keep the 1-0 lead and qualify for Rio 2016 Olympics. Another stunning save in the Asia Cup final helped the team India win against China and book a spot in the World Cup this Year.
