Cavani versus Neymar: Cavani rejects €1m offer to hand over penalty duties

The Cavani-Neymar drama has been dragging on since the duo were involved in an embarrassing public fall-out regarding penalty duties in the club 2-0 win over Lyon on September. Since then there were reports that world most expensive player Neymar wanted his Uruguayan counterpart out of the team and even approached the PSG official to do the necessary.
It seems the issue is far as fresh reports suggest that Cavani rejected 1 million euros to pass on penalty duties. Spanish publication El Pais has claimed that Cavani was offered the payment, which amounts to the bonus he would receive should he finish as the club’s top goalscorer in Ligue 1 but the striker has rejected the offer.
