PKL 2017: Matches in Mumbai postponed due to rains
On Tuesday, both the matches at The Sardar Vallabhai Patel Indoor Stadium had to be cancelled due to heavy rain. While Bengaluru Bulls and U.P Yoddha were scheduled to play the first match, home crowd was left disappointed as the match between U Mumba and Gujarat Fortunegiants also did not happen
On Tuesday, the Pro Kabaddi League season 5 witnessed a rain disruption as both the matches at The Sardar Vallabhai Patel Indoor Stadium had to be cancelled, much to the disappointment of the fans. While Bengaluru Bulls and U.P Yoddha were scheduled to play the first match, home crowd was left disappointed as the match between U Mumba and Gujarat Fortunegiants also did not happen.

Both the teams had even left their hotels early in anticipation of the delay due to floods, but were unable to reach and so were the fans as to the stadium was almost empty. It has been learnt that both the matches will now be played on a later date and the decision is said to be taken in consultation with the franchises.

U Mumba has not had a good home leg and currently lies at the 5th position in Zone A with 19 points. Whereas Gujarat Fortunegainst are way ahead and top Zone with 41 points. U Mumba have been champions before and Anup Kumar led side will need to up their game quickly. On the other hand, UP Yoddha are still at the top in Zone B with 30 points from 11 matches, while Bengaluru Bulls languish at the fourth spot in the same Zone.
