PKL 2017: Paltan outclass Thalaivas, Fortunegiants beat Pirates in a thriller
Two of the top teams in the tournament, Gujarat Fortunegiants and Patna Pirates battled it out on Friday, only for the former to seal an emphatic victory in the end.
Puneri Paltan climbed to the 3rd position in Zone A with a comfortable win over Tamil Thalaivas ( 33-20) as captain- Deepak Hooda led from the front, scoring 6 points. The match was even earlier on but then two all outs by Paltan increased the margin significantly. Thalaivas captain, Ajay Thakur had an off and could not quite perform as per expectation. This had been the first match Thalaivas played at their home turf and lost, much to the disappointment of the fans.
