Dublin's Croke Park pitch was converted into a praying area this Eid

Around 200 Muslims performed their Eid al-Adha prayers on Dublin's Croke Park pitch, observing social distancing measures during the coronavirus pandemic in Ireland.

Catholic Archbishop of Dublin and Primate of Ireland Diarmuid Martin also addressed the congregation at the Eid al-Adha festival on Dublin's Croke Park pitch.
"Thank you to Ireland because today this Eid prayer is sending a very strong message out to the whole world that Ireland is indeed a country of céad míle fáilte [Irish phrase for a hundred thousand welcomes]," Dr Al-Qadri said.
The celebration was attended by representatives of the government, ambassadors, as well as Christian, Jewish and other faith leaders.
