
Indian Archery team in action on the 1st day of Tokyo Olympics, check schedule and live telecast details
The schedule of Indian athletes for the Tokyo Olympic games starting from 23rd July has been released. This time 127 players from India have qualified for the Olympics.
The first batch of the Indian contingent consisting of 88-members has already reached the Tokyo Olympics games village. Out of 88 members 54 players and the rest of the support staff.
The first batch includes the badminton team, men's and women's hockey team, archery team, table tennis team, swimming, judo and gymnastics teams. Meanwhile, shooters and boxers arrived in the Japanese capital from Croatia and Italy.
Among the Indian players, archer Deepika Kumari will be in action. She will take part in the ranking round of women archers. In this round, 64 women archers will aim.
The archer scoring the most points will get the first rank. In the main draw, the No. 1 archer will face the No. 64 archer. Similarly, No. 2 will compete with No. 63. The Round of 64 and Round of 16 for the singles event in Women's Archery will be held on July 27 and 28.
