
Tokyo 2020: Sajan Prakash misses out on 200m butterfly semi-finals, to feature in 100m event
Sajan will present the challenge in the 100m butterfly on Thursday. Two other Indian swimmers competing in the Olympics, Mana Patel and Srihari Natraj, have already been out of the competition.
Indian swimmer Sajan Prakash failed to make the semi-finals of the men's 200m butterfly event at the Tokyo Olympics after finishing fourth in heat two on Monday. Sajan, who achieved Olympic 'A' qualifying level in Italy last month with a personal best of 1:56.38s, clocked 1:57.22s to finish 24th among 38 swimmers. The top 16 swimmers made it to the semi-finals.
