ALLAHABAD: A 42-year-old woman committed suicide by jumping off the third floor of her house near Mansarovar at Bahadurganj here on Sunday. Recently, Madhubala had a tiff with her husband on a petty issue after which she had gone to her father's house in Bahadurganj area under Kotwali police station. Preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased had been suffering from depression for the past many months.Police said the deceased, identified as Madhubala Agrahari, was married to Umakant Agrahari of Mirzapur district for 15 years. "Body has been sent for postmortem," said SHO Kotwali police station. Differences between the couple could be the reason for the extreme step, he added.
